Who the hell is this man?! Literally my first thought upon seeing Saye standing proudly in our hotel lobby. I’d never seen him before and he seemed to hold total command of our oversized lobby. Saye is an impeccably dressed smooth talker who was hired to correct the egregious mistakes that were the foundation of our “luxury” hotel ("hotel" meaning a big building that caused massive suffering). I had no idea Saye would be so instrumental in shaking my perspective on my career and the way I carried myself.
Saye taught me more about myself than he ever did about the industry. Which is funny, because he wasn’t even supposed to be working closely with me while consulting for the hotel. Saye unintentionally taught me the value of listening and empathizing with people (which inadvertently taught me how to be a better friend). With a pure heart and good intention, Saye always had a word of wisdom and spot on fashion advice. You need to know Saye because he’s one of the last men on earth that understands the power of listening.
